Armored Republic makes all body armor in-house with orders subject to production and processing times. The Armored Republic Abdominal (ABS) Pouch is a cutting-edge solution for modular protection of the abdominal area, designed to meet the demands of those requiring extended coverage without sacrificing mobility. This pouch attaches securely to your plate carrier via integrated Velcro, offering user-adjustable placement for a precise fit. The PALS webbing on the front allows for attaching small MOLLE-compatible pouches, enabling further customization while maintaining freedom of movement.
The ABS Pouch includes:
- S2 Soft Body Armor Panel: Constructed from Aramid, this lightweight (0.55 lbs) panel provides Level IIIA handgun and frag protection. Tested to NIJ 0101.06 standards, it stops .357 SIG FMJ flat-nose bullets up to 1,470 fps and .44 Magnum SJHP bullets up to 1,430 fps. The panel is flexible, designed for comfort and concealment, and boasts a 10-year shelf life.
- Blunt Force Trauma Pad: Engineered to mitigate energy transfer and reduce backface deformation upon impact, the trauma pad minimizes injury risks, ensuring maximum protection during critical situations.
