Comes with the Quick-Detach System.The?Testudo Lite Gen 2?is a slim and rugged plate carrier. It will accommodate any 10? x 12? size armor plate or panel insert. It includes MOLLE webbing on the front side for attaching any pouches, gear, and accessories. The new Gen 2 version features the QDS, which allows you to take the carrier off in just a moment.The A2?is rated to stop M855/SS109 rounds at speeds of up to 3,000 FPS and AK-47 rounds (7.62×39) and M80 NATO Ball at 2,850 FPS. Due to the strengths of steel, these plates stop several tight groupings virtually anywhere on the surface. This means it is both multi-hit capable and edge-to-edge protecting. Steel is also especially resistant to backface deformation, the plate?s changing shape from the bullet?s impact. It provides a bullet-resistant Level IIIA soft armor panel, protection which covers multiple hits of 230GR .44 Magnum @ 1,430 FPS (and all lesser threats). The backpack has a soft armor panel sewn into the back layer of the pack.
